FAQ

1.  I need to replace a damaged Super Blue® Base Jacket, can PrintGuard® help?

Yes. PrintGuard manufactures premium Orange Base Jackets utilizing our patent pending technology.  Our base jackets are designed to fit various press sizes. See “OrangeNet Products”section on this website.

2.  My Company would like to upgrade from OrangeNet
systems to glass bead
Anti-marking jackets. What should I do?

PrintGuard manufactures PrintGuardPlus Orange Jackets with our patented  microcellular backing. See “glass bead antimarking products” section of this site and
Click on your press type for product codes, installation instructions and “how to measure” instructions.

3.  Why is the Wavy OrangeNet
short?

A Wavy OrangeNet measured in its relaxed position  may appear small for your press size. To check the OrangeNet full size, pull it tight at all four corners and measure it in this position.

4.  Ink is building up on the OrangeNet
, what should I do?
OrangeNets are specially treated with ink repellant, over time this coating wears off so if the net begins to build up with ink, take the following steps:
Wet ink: Run one to two hundred maximum size make-ready sheets through the press at high speed, off impression. The make-ready stock should relieve the ink from the nets surface.

Dry ink: Tension the OrangeNet and wipe briskly with a clean dry cloth to dislodge the dry ink. Run the press at full speed for several minutes without paper to dislodge dried ink and dust particles.
